Institute for Gaudiya Vaishnavism

The Institute was founded in 1989 for the purpose of presenting the authorized process of performing bhakti-seva (devotional service to Krsna, God) to the public at large, as propounded by Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and taught by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. In addition, since 2000,the Institute has become affiliated with the preaching mission of the current Gaudiya Vaishnava acharya, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayan Maharaja.

The IGV has been continuously preaching the mission of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, in South Florida, following in the footsteps of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.   It is open to all who wish to preform devotional service to Radha and Krsna, and is operating under the guidance of Bhaktivedanta Narayan Swami, the current acharya of the Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya.

The Institute is a recognized body within the Brahma-Madhava-Gaudiya Sampradaya of Vaishnavism. It was founded by Mahabuddhi dasa, a direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada. The Institute's main purpose is to provide a cohesive study of the Vedic Scriptures of India as presented by the great spiritual masters of the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. the Institute holds regular classes (external) for studying the Vedic Literatures by the general public, it also maintains the ONLY Vaishnava College in the USA (Florida Vedic College) for the advanced degree education in Vaishnavism philosophy and religion.

Congregational Programs

The IGV, helps individuals participate from a distance in the Bhakti-yoga process, or participate locally in our preaching programs. We help individuals and couples, link up to being congregational members from a distance, or locally in South Florida. We help them transfer their homes into mini temples and assist them with practicing spiritual life while at home, wherever that may be.
